Scacchi & Chess armchair

The character of the Scacchi armchair is defined by its square pattern: its name refers to chess, which is played on a square board, and this motif appears in a subtly reworked form on the seat and backrest. The small squares create the impression of a woven surface, as if straps were intertwined, while the edges are finished with a softly rounded profile that is pleasant to the touch and visually softens the modern form. The light yet stable frame works well both indoors and outdoors and can be used in cafes, on terraces or in dining rooms, where it brings a playful yet restrained graphic rhythm to the space.
