Compasso chair

The circle is one of the purest, simplest geometric shapes, used for centuries to create harmony and elegance; the Compasso's distinctive, circular backrest is eye-catching, bringing any interior to life. The front edge of the seat also curves, visually connecting to the backrest while reinforcing the continuous shell and providing space for the connection of the wooden legs; the legs connect directly into openings shaped in the plastic shell, adding extra rigidity, with fasteners concealed by covers the same color as the seat.

The combination of wood and plastic is an elegant blend of modern and classic materials, and the entire piece speaks to the relationship between ancient and contemporary aesthetics: the shape of the backrest evokes the circular motifs of ancient Chinese thrones, while the angled wooden legs resemble a compass that draws a perfect circle – hence the name Compasso (compass).
